Vintage San Francisco mug and a worn out Giants t-shirt I found a few years back at a Bay Area thrift shop. Celebrating their sweep with a Harvest Moon Latte from Peace Coffee Shop-Wonderland Park. Delicious!

I got this mug about five years ago as a gift during the holidays and there are so many things to love about it. It is my favorite color, covered in peace signs, and huge (16oz!); but also, once two summers ago I dropped it onto the patio and instead of breaking when it hit the concrete it bounced a little and then settled to the ground, in fact there isn’t even a chip on it.

MN Rainbow Mug made by local artist/ceramicist Roxie Lubanovic, on loan from on friend. Full of Peace Coffee’s Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and lots of PRIDE!

Ikea practically paid me to take this mug off their hands. It was right before Easter and they had palates of chick mugs in all different colors. The orange chick spoke to me - or should I say chirped to me - and I think I paid all of 20 cents for it. It was really absurd, even for Ikea. The bargain hunter in me had to resist bringing home a super cheap chick mug in every color. But really, how many chick mugs does one need?

This mug was made by a little old lady in the Cinque Terre in Italy, where my husband and I went almost ten years ago for our honeymoon. It is handmade and hand painted in the bright yellow common to the color schemes of the pottery in that area. This mug never fails to remind me of all the good things I ate in those five charming towns on the coast - fresh seafood, incredible espresso, and gelato of course. I also brought home an espresso cup made by the same cute little lady, but I’ll save that for another Monday.
